If a modern motorist is told that it is possible to reduce fuel consumption with ordinary distilled water, he is unlikely to immediately take his word for it. Nevertheless, a similar technique does exist. She came from the middle of the 20th century. Cunning was practiced by some drivers in the Soviet Union, however, it was known about this feature of the fluid in other places. How can you do this and is such a game worth the candle?

The essence of the method is extremely simple. Take some distilled water, a plastic bottle, a thin tube, a syringe, and some tools, most notably a drill with a thin drill. All of the above is used for uncomplicated tuning of the intake manifold of a car engine. First, a water tank (similar to a man in the street) is made from a tube, a bottle and a needle from a syringe. Then a drill is taken and a small hole is made in the engine manifold. A needle from a syringe is inserted into the hole made and tightly isolated there. Distilled water is poured into a prepared container.

The system is ready for use. The principle of operation is as follows: when the engine starts to work, a discharge occurs in the collector. After that, the fuel-air mixture gets into it, and with it - distilled water from the attached container. Then the whole thing ends up in the cylinder, the water evaporates and enters the spark gap, where it decomposes into oxygen and hydrogen under the action of an electric arc. Both of these substances individually improve engine performance, reducing fuel consumption and increasing engine performance! The increase in efficiency reaches 10-15%.

And everything would be fine, but an experienced motorist will ask: if everything is so “sweet”, then why are such installations not placed on cars right at the factory? A conspiracy of fuel and machine manufacturers? There really is no conspiracy. If only because such tuning, although it is quite effective in terms of recoil, can be safely considered blatantly sabotage … The thing is that, once in the gas path, water vapor begins to quickly reduce the resource of several important parts at once. Everything can end with the need to replace all cylinders and spark plugs. In addition, by reducing fuel consumption, water vapor significantly increases the consumption of engine oil in a vehicle. Ultimately, if you drive a car with such a "refinement", then you will definitely not be able to save money, and the expenses on repairing your favorite swallow will grow many times over.
