Few people like to spend their entire evening after a hard day or even worse - weekend morning on such "entertainment" as peeling potatoes. Of all the vegetables, potatoes are among the most difficult to clean. Fortunately, there is one simple "folk" method that will make the peel literally peel off.
Getting rid of the hated skin of potatoes is not at all as difficult as it might seem at first glance. First, the raw potatoes must be washed thoroughly. When this is done, you should arm yourself with an ordinary kitchen knife and make an incision in the peel exactly in the middle of the potato. An annular cut is made from it around the root crop. All of the above is done very quickly and with all the potatoes (which need to be peeled) at once.
It takes a little more than 3-5 minutes to process a pot of potatoes, along with thorough washing. Place the potatoes in a suitable saucepan. In parallel with this, the kettle should be boiled. As soon as the water in the kettle boils, put the pot with potatoes on the stove and fill it with boiling water, then immediately turn on the fire and cook until tender.
As soon as the potatoes are cooked, drain all the water from the pan into another pan (this is done only if the potatoes are further mashed, otherwise you can immediately pour into the sink). Cooked potatoes, still in the pot, will need to be filled with cold tap water.
Left just a little bit. We are waiting for a while until the cold water does its job. As soon as the roots have cooled down, you can pick them up and peel them. The skin will be removed very easily, literally in one motion.
