Casserole is one of the simplest and most delicious dishes, which, although it takes a couple of hours to cook in the kitchen, nevertheless, the end result is, as always, justified. And potato casserole with apples is something you can't resist.

Ingredients:

• Medium-sized apples - 3-4 pcs;

• Medium-sized potatoes - 5-6 pieces;

• Hard cheese - 150-200 g;

• Bacon - 8-10 strips;

• Medium-sized onions - 2 pieces;

• Fat cream - 1 glass;

• Butter - 4 tsp;

• Dijon mustard - 4 tsp;

• Lemon juice - 2 tsp;

• Caraway seeds - 1 tsp;

• Salt - to taste;

• Ground pepper to taste.

Cooking method:

• Wash the potatoes;

• Clean;

• Cut into slices 1-2 mm thick;

• Boil salted water in a saucepan with cold water and, bringing to a boil, boil for 3-4 minutes;

• Then fold into a colander and allow to cool;

• Wash the apples;

• Clean;

• Remove the core and cut the pulp into slices 1-2 mm thick;

• Season with lemon juice, salt and pepper;

• Fry in butter for about 1-2 minutes on each side;

• Transfer to a plate covered with a paper towel;

• In the same pan where the apples were fried, fry the bacon for 5-6 minutes on each side;

• Put on a plate covered with napkins, and then, when it cools down, cut into 3-4 equal parts;

• Grate cheese on a coarse grater;

• Pour the cream into a saucepan and send to simmer over low heat;

• After 2-3 minutes add cheese and mustard;

• Salt, pepper and sprinkle with caraway seeds;

• Stir gently;

• Bring to a boil, simmer for 1-2 minutes, remove from heat;

• Peel the onion, cut into thin rings or half rings;

• Fry in butter for about 6-8 minutes or until light golden brown;

• Grease a baking dish with oil;

• Put potatoes on the bottom in an even layer, then apples, bacon and onions on top;

• Top with cheese mixture;

• Cover with foil and send to an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 30-35 minutes;

• Then remove the foil and cook for another 10-15 minutes;

• Serve with fresh herbs.

2. Stew

But this stew recipe will definitely appeal to all those who love and dislike apples in any form. Juicy, aromatic and so tasty, it will awaken the appetite of even the most capricious and fastidious people one hundred percent.

Ingredients:

• Apples of medium size - 2-3 pcs;

• Small squash - 1-2 pieces;

• Small eggplants - 1-2 pieces;

• Bulgarian red pepper - 1 piece;

• Medium-sized onion - 1 pc;

• Chicken fillet of medium size - 1 pc;

• Garlic - 2-3 cloves;

• Salt - to taste;

• Ground pepper - to taste;

• Fresh dill and parsley - 1 small bunch;

• Sunflower oil - for frying.

Needless to say, apple strudel is loved almost all over the world, and there are so many recipes for its preparation that you cannot count on your fingers, because each housewife has her own secrets, which she has reserved especially for this roll.

Ingredients:

• Medium-sized apples - 4 pcs;

• Sugar - 1 glass;

• Raisins - 1 glass;

• Sunflower oil - 1-2 tbsp;

• Eggs - 1 piece;

• Milk - 1/4 of a glass;

• Puff pastry - 300 g.

Cooking method:

• Wash the apples;

• Clean and settle the core;

• Cut three apples into thin slices, and grate the fourth on a coarse grater;

• Pour into a bowl and mix well with sugar and raisins;

• Roll out the dough into a layer of medium thickness;

• Spread the filling evenly on one part;

Perhaps there is nothing tastier than stuffed apples. Why? Because the filling can be anything: from meat and vegetables to cottage cheese with berries and fruits. However, you can get away from stereotypes and cook with oatmeal and nuts, seasoned with cinnamon.

Ingredients:

• Large apples - 6 pcs;

• Oatmeal flakes - 1 glass;

• Honey - 3 tbsp;

• Cinnamon - 2 tsp;

• Butter - 2 tbsp;

• Assorted nuts - 2 handfuls;

• Bitter chocolate - 0.5 bars.

Cooking method:

• Wash the apples;

Ingredients:

• Ready-made pizza dough - 0.5 kg;

• Large apples - 4 pcs;

• Ham (or smoked sausage) - 350-400 g;

• Hard cheese - 200-250 g;

• Medium-sized red onion - 1 pc;

• Garlic - 3-4 cloves;

• Medium-sized tomatoes - 2-3 pcs;

• Mayonnaise - 4 tablespoons;

• Sweet mustard - 4 tablespoons;

• Salt and ground pepper to taste.

Cooking method:

• Finely chop the onion and garlic;

• Fry in a pan greased with sunflower oil for about 3-4 minutes;

• Wash the tomatoes;

• Carefully remove the skin;

• Cut the pulp into half rings 1 mm thick;

• In a bowl, mix mustard, mayonnaise and fried onions with garlic;

• Mix everything well;

• And grease the dough rolled into a cake;

• Cut the ham into thin slices;

• Wash the apples;

• Clear;

• Remove the core;

• Cut the pulp in the same way as the tomatoes;

• Spread the ham evenly, with tomatoes on top;

• Season with salt and pepper;

• Sprinkle generously with grated cheese on top;

• Put on a baking sheet covered with parchment;

• Send to an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
