The Taiwanese company Xing Mobility has promised to launch the latest electric supercar with SUV capabilities on the automotive market by the end of 2018. It all sounds like some absolutely incredible compote. Nevertheless, the prototype of the electric car, which was shown to the general public, called Miss R, dispelled all doubts and gave hope for the success of the project.
The novelty is equipped with four independent engines at once, which give a total power of one megawatt, which is comparable to the power of 1,360 horsepower. With this power, the car should accelerate to 100 km / h in 1.8 seconds, and to 200 km / h in 5.1 seconds. For comparison, the Tesla Roadster accelerates to 98 km / h in 1.9 seconds. Taiwanese engineers do not hide the fact that they are striving to significantly surpass their Western counterparts in this indicator.
However, Miss R will not compete with her older brother from Tesla in other important parameters. The declared top speed is 270 km / h. The novelty also does not pretend to have a greater power reserve. Alternatively, craftsmen at Xing Mobility offer hot-swap batteries in 5 minutes using the Xing Battery System.
This system is markedly different from what Tesla offers in its cars today. The Taiwanese system has fewer storage elements than Elon Musk (almost twice).
