Car candles wear out during vehicle operation. The main thing is that the central electrode of the candle gradually burns out, as a result of which the part loses all efficiency. There are many ways to give old candles a second wind. However, all of them, with rare exceptions, do not help when trying to "rejuvenate" heavily worn candles. Today we will focus on just that very method of exclusion. Immediately you need to be prepared for the fact that you have to tinker.

From the point of view of the order of actions, the described procedure is not very complicated, however, with regard to the manufacturability of the process and preparation for work, you will have to tinker a lot. Having prepared all the tools listed above and removing the "worn out" candles from the car, you can get to work. The first step is to clean the candles at least a little. This is necessary mainly for your own convenience during subsequent manipulations.
The first step is to bend the side electrode of the car plug. Then we arm ourselves with a drill and make a small longitudinal cut on the electrode. We try to make the cut so that it is located strictly in the center. In such a simple way, we get a handicraft analogue of a modern candle with two or three electrodes.
Next, you need to make a major cleaning of the candles (if it was not done immediately). For this we use a gas burner and a solvent. They will help remove most of the coke from the candles. After the initial treatment, it is recommended to walk over the candles with a cloth soaked in Dimexidum or bleach. At the same time, do not forget about observing the necessary precautions. When the candles become dry, we process the cleaned electrodes with the sandpaper mentioned at the beginning.
Almost ready. Now all that remains is to adjust the gap on the spark plugs. Having achieved the desired indicator, we put candles in the car. The spark will fly out better than a new and modern one! As a result, engine performance will become much more stable and engine starting will be much easier.
