We clean the air conditioner
First you need to get rid of the dust in the air conditioner radiator. Compressed air is best suited for this. An ordinary car pump will help in carrying out such an operation. First, the radiator itself is purged, after which it is worth walking with the compressor along the entire air intake grille under the windshield, as well as the deflectors in the car interior. In order to get rid of the unpleasant odor, you should treat the car's vaporizer. Here you can go in one of two ways. The first is to purchase a specialized aerosol agent in a car store. The second is to choose a profile foam product.
If the work is performed with an aerosol composition, then you should start the car engine, turn on the air conditioner, adjust the air supply so that it does not come from the street to the passenger compartment. After that, all the fan openings in the passenger compartment are opened. The can with the composition is shaken and sprayed from the side of the rear seats. At this point, all doors and windows of the car should be closed. It is recommended to leave the car during disinfection (indicated on the can). At the end of the procedure, the vehicle is ventilated.
If a foam cleaner is used, the cabin filter is removed first. The foam is then introduced into the system through the provided drain hole. All that remains is to wait 10-20 minutes for the product to drain down. When this moment comes, the engine and air conditioning are started. Ventilate the machine after cleaning.
