Company Apis cor from San Francisco (USA) specializes in 3D printing. This time the specialists decided to tackle the problem of prefabricated housing. They have already designed and printed a 37 square meter residential building. The house was ready in just 24 hours.
A small house, printed on a 3D printer, is located in the city of Stupino in the Moscow region. It looks promising. The house was printed last December. The 3D printer could work at zero temperature. The developers claim that the special concrete mixture they used will last up to 175 years.
In addition to the fact that the process of building a house takes a few hours, it is also environmentally friendly, and there is no construction waste on the site. The cost of a house, printed on a 3D printer, taking into account built-in technology, was only $ 10,134 (about $ 275 per square meter).
