Recently, mobile homes and the “nomadic” format of recreation are gaining more and more popularity. All of this has its own romance. And the further, the more difficult it is to distinguish such mobile homes from ordinary houses and apartments.

When you hear a "house on wheels", pictures of an ordinary trailer, which would be quite difficult to call not only beautiful, but also at least somewhat comfortable, flash through your head. This pattern breaks EarthRoamer, a super comfortable mobile home (and super expensive too, by the way), which has now migrated to the base of the Ford F-750.

Previously, the travel trailer was made on the basis of the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. As in the last time, the designers did quite well, and better than the last time. Like the previous model Earthroamer, new XV-HD positioned as a mobile home for travel in any conditions.

The car works equally well in different latitudes, but it is best to head to EarthRoamer where it is cold. It is there, in the midst of bad weather and off-road conditions, the car will reveal its full potential.

Under the hood, the XV-HD is equipped with a 7-liter Powerstroke V8 turbodiesel made by Ford, which works in conjunction with a 6-speed automatic transmission TorqShift HD. The engine has an output of 330 horsepower and 983 Nm of torque. Four-wheel drive is used on the car. For movement on the ground, 46-inch Michelin XZL tires are used. The hydraulically leveling air suspension with Fox shocks is also worth mentioning.

The van has rich exterior equipment. There are additional LED lighting, auxiliary fasteners for cargo and equipment, and two winches - electrical and mechanical. The front one will pull 13 600 kg without any problems!

Once inside the XV-HD, you understand why this trailer is being asked to shell out a half million dollars. This is not a mobile home, this is a real apartment. Unlike most analogues, EarthRoamer is designed to accommodate six people at once. The basic set of benefits is included in the trailer inside and out, there is not only a toilet and a washbasin, but also a full shower. The kitchen has another sink, stove, refrigerator, freezer, extractor hood, dishwasher and even a washing machine! All this is powered by several capacious lithium-ion batteries. The water tank was increased by almost 90 liters - now the car carries 946 liters with it. Such a car will make the most extreme travel comfortable.
Continuing the theme, there are even more interesting creations of the company. Here is a story about how Ford has created a car cradle in which it is easy to lull the most active kidsthat prevent parents from sleeping at night.
