So what do even the most experienced motorists forget about?
1. Remote interaction with windows
It is strange that not all motorists know about this "trick". Nevertheless, it is possible to open and close the windows of the car (and in some models also the sunroof) using the remote control key fob to open and close the doors. To do this, it is enough just to hold down the unlocking or locking button in order to lower or raise the glass, respectively.
2. Locking rear doors
A feature that will definitely come in handy for all parents with small children. The fact is that the rear doors of the car can be tightly locked, thus preventing them from opening from the inside. All that needs to be done is to move the switch to a different position, which is located at the end of each door. Most often it is made either in the form of a toggle switch, turning with a screwdriver, or in the form of a lever.
3. Adjusting the seat belt
In the vast majority of modern car models, it is possible to adjust the seat belt in height. No special tools are needed for this. Everything is done by simply pressing the fingers and the effort of the hand. Remember that the seat belt should cover the waist line as little as possible. When properly seated in the chair and correctly adjusted, the belt should pass over the center of the shoulder.
4. Setting up the mirror
Surely everyone has seen a small lever on the rearview mirror. Amazingly, not all motorists know why it is needed at all. It is used to switch between day and night modes for the mirror. By pressing the lever, the mirror will change its angle and darken a little. This is necessary in order to significantly reduce the glare from the cars that follow.
5. Parking lights
Another simple trick that for some reason many people forget to use. Moving the left lever of the car's direction indicator to the uppermost position will help to turn on the parking lights on the right, and to the lowermost position on the left. Parking lights are extremely useful when you need to park your car at night. In this case, the lighting equipment will operate in an economical mode.
6. Sun visor
Every driver noticed the presence of a sun visor in his car. However, not everyone knows that it can not only be lowered down, but also turned to the side with a slight effort of the hand, carefully pulling out one of the loops not closed tightly with a little effort. The visor is rotated 90 degrees.
7. Service position of wipers
Even most modern cars do not have the standard ability to lift wipers to clear snow and ice. However, the "wiper service position" can be used. To activate the function, after turning off the engine, press the lever responsible for the wipers and hold it in the extremely low position. This will raise the wipers higher.
