Installing a faucet in a water tank can be tricky, especially if the keg has only one and extremely small hole. Cutting a hole is easy, but how to install the coveted tap in it? In order for everything to work out, you have to go to a little trick. In reality, the crane can be put on in just 5-10 minutes.

What you need: barrel, crane, bolt, brass insert with gaskets, wire, rope, single-core wire in insulation
First of all, using a drill with a suitable nozzle, we drill a hole in the barrel in the right place for the same tap. Next, we process (remove) all the burrs formed during drilling. Next, we take a rope, wire, or a long piece of cloth. At its very edge, we make a loop for tightening, a bolt is inserted into it. An important point: the "lace" should be significantly longer than the height of the barrel.

An inset is put on the loop along with the gasket. A bolt is inserted into them. The edge of the lace with an insert and gasket is lowered into the barrel through the main (factory) hole. Meanwhile, the wire is taken. A hook is made from it, which is inserted into the hole and with which the inset is pushed. Then it is pulled into the drilled hole and inserted into it using the fingers.

Further, the matter remains small. Now all that remains is to make sure that the gasket has sat down as it should, and screw on the nut. Once this is done, the wire or string is pulled through any of the holes. Be sure to install a hexagon in the inset so that it does not scroll in the future.
