A small townhouse owned by a producer and boutique owner located in Stoke Newington, North London. The dark and slightly gloomy style of the 19th century in which the house was built was in urgent need of modernization. After a major overhaul, the multi-level apartment acquired its own unique style, and was also filled with a host of original decor details.

Bonhôte House - a small townhouse located in the north of London. The original appearance of the 19th century building, as well as the interior decoration of the apartment, looked inconspicuous and even slightly gloomy. The company undertook the transformation of the house AOC Architecture, which turned part of the building, owned by the family of an English producer and boutique owner, into a stylish townhouse filled with interesting details and decorative elements.

The architects decided to get rid of the floor area on the second floor in front of the house, thereby significantly raising the ceiling on the first floor. A staircase was also placed here, decorated with luxurious golden railings on both sides. As a result, the first floor of the apartment has become much more spacious and lighted.

The decorative moldings that adorn most of the details in the house are images of the profiles of the faces of family members living in the townhouse.

Internal windows not only separate the two rooms, but also let light from one room to another, visually making the space more spacious.

An unusual concrete sofa is located under the stairs, which is not only an original decorative element, but also an additional seat.

Another striking example of the transformation of an old building into a modern residential building is the territory of the former textile factory, which today houses comfortable apartments with stylish interior decoration.
