What you need: two matches, rubber band

So, the ignition technique is very simple. We take one match and an elastic band. We make a loop out of the elastic band, after which we throw it over the first match. The clamp must be positioned closer to the head. After that, we take the second match and put a free loop of elastic on it, still trying to place it closer to the head.
We hold both matches with our fingers, after which we pull the first as far as possible to the side, and hold the second perpendicular to the ground. We aim so that the two heads more or less look at each other. The moment of truth comes: let go of the first match so that it hits the second with its head. If it doesn't work the first time, we try again.
Ultimately, success will be achieved when the first match with its incendiary part casually passes the head of the second match. As soon as this happens, there will be a flash of fire. You will now have a few seconds to light a fire or light a cigarette.
