Some objects are so well disguised in the interior that during cleaning we simply do not pay attention to them. No one forgets to wash the floor under the bed, but the closet next door often goes unnoticed. The same applies to carpet, laundry basket and other items. But no less dust accumulates under them than under a table or sofa, so they must be moved to remove all dirt. Novate.ru tells what other items are on this list.
1. Sofa

Usually, the place under the sofa is a collection of various objects, ranging from toys, wool, candy wrappers, and ending with various missing items: pens, keys, jewelry, and so on. Therefore, during general cleaning, it is imperative to move the sofa, check what lies under it, and then wash the floor. This is not only a matter of cleanliness, but also of a comfortable microclimate. The fact is that dust and germs that accumulate under furniture can spread throughout the room. Do not exclude the possibility of the appearance of microorganisms hazardous to health, in particular dust mites.
Note: The “underside” of furniture also needs regular cleaning. Take a look at the sofa from below and you will notice that a huge amount of dust and cobwebs has accumulated there. Arm yourself with a vacuum cleaner and remove all dirt, then walk along the bottom of the furniture with a damp cloth. You need to check the "wrong side" as often as possible, at least once a month.
2. Carpet

Many people believe that the carpet does not need to be lifted during cleaning, as it takes the brunt of the blow, collecting dust and dirt on the pile. This is partly true. But do not forget about the presence of sand, crumbs and other heavy particles that do not settle on the carpet, but on the floor below it. Therefore, when you are cleaning the apartment, it is not enough to thoroughly vacuum the textiles. Roll up the carpet, set it aside, and thoroughly clean the floor in the room without avoiding certain areas.
3. Washing machine

If your bathroom has built-in appliances, then it will be impossible to remove the washing machine without affecting the surrounding furniture. But if the device stands autonomously and can be moved, it is necessary to use this and regularly clean under it. Do not forget that under the washing machine, exactly like under any other object in the apartment, dust accumulates over time. In addition, detergents can leak under it, which, in tandem with other contaminants, form a mud film. It is better not to wait until this happens, but to remove stains and dust in a timely manner.
4. Bedside tables

Despite the fact that the bedside tables are easy to move, many people completely forget about it during cleaning. Some people believe that a large amount of dirt cannot accumulate in the bedroom, since the owners of the apartment spend a minimum of time here. Others think that a clean floor under the bed will be enough. In fact, the main source of dust in the bedroom is textiles: bedding, curtains, decorative pillows, carpets, and more. Thanks to him, every area in the room is polluted, including the area under the pedestals. Therefore, do not forget to carefully clean the space under the furniture, even if it is very small.
5. Dining table on a leg-underframe

It seems that cleaning up the space under a table with one leg is much easier than under the models with four legs. In reality, however, the opposite is true. Such furniture is harder to move and lift, and a lot of dirt also accumulates under one leg. Therefore, do not forget to move the table during wet cleaning and thoroughly clean out any dirt that has accumulated under it.
6. Shoe rack

The hallway is considered the furthest from cleanliness. And this is not surprising, because only here we walk in dirty shoes, leaving street dust and other dirt on the floor, which is fixed on the sole. And since a rare person washes shoes immediately after returning home, preferring to put them in a shoe rack, this piece of furniture often becomes one of the dirtiest in an apartment. That is why it is necessary to carefully monitor its cleanliness and the space around it. But washing shoes and shelves in a shoe box is not enough. It is also important to wet clean around and under the piece of furniture so that dust does not linger anywhere.
7. Refrigerator

Considering the fact that the refrigerator is very heavy and it can be incredibly difficult to move it even a few centimeters, many housewives prefer to ignore it while cleaning. For this reason, some housewives accumulate dirt under the household appliance for years, which leads to a lot of problems. The fact is that dirt and food residues are an excellent breeding ground for bacteria, which can subsequently cause allergies. They also provoke an unpleasant smell, which causes significant discomfort to all residents of the apartment. Therefore, you need to clean up the garbage under the refrigerator regularly. How to make it easier for yourself?
You can use regular soapy water. Take a spray bottle, add a few drops of liquid soap, add water and shake the container thoroughly to completely dissolve. Next, spray the resulting mass under the bottom of the refrigerator, legs and on the area in front of the household appliance. Wait a few minutes and start moving the refrigerator. Such a trick will greatly facilitate the process itself, the device will glide well on the floor. However, be careful not to scratch the floor.
8. Laundry basket

This accessory is firmly anchored in the interior of the bathroom, thanks to its compactness, convenience and functionality. However, there is a minus in it - often the laundry basket stands absolutely motionless if the washing machine is located next to it. As a result, dust and small debris from clothes accumulate under the basket. When doing wet cleaning, be sure to move the basket aside to clean the floor under it, and also wipe the accessory itself from dust, because dirt from clothes settles on it. The last step is best done after each wash - it is unhygienic to use an unwashed laundry basket for a long time.
