Trends in the development of modern technologies imply an increasing bias towards environmental friendliness, comfort and creativity. Therefore, it is not surprising that not only researchers, but also businessmen are beginning to support projects that would meet these standards. This is how an unusual startup called The Bubble, a hydrofoil water taxi, appeared in Paris.

Dutch businessmen have conceived an unusual project - to create a hydrofoil taxi that would cut across the water in major European cities. The French company Seabubbles took on the implementation of this startup - it was they who developed the concept of a futuristic transport.

The authors of the concept also presented the technical characteristics of the taxi bubble. Thus, the dimensions of the transport are 5 x 2.5 m, the engine power is 18 kW, and the maximum speed is 18 knots. The capacity of one cabin is up to five people.

In addition, the taxi is an electric car, the battery charge of which will last for 100 kilometers of water travel. And recharging will be carried out with the help of berths specially installed on the shore, which are powered by green energy sources, for example, solar.

It is planned to make transport not only environmentally friendly, but also comfortable: the creators of the project want to make their taxi so that even people suffering from seasickness can use it. As conceived by the authors, the transport bubble will cut the waters of large cities in France, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, the United Arab Emirates and the Netherlands. In addition, SeaBubbles has plans to create a more massive tourist water transport - hydrofoil buses with a capacity of up to 90 people.
