New Zealand designer Glen Lewis-Steele created a spectacular and witty chair called Lambent Chair … Inspired by the giraffe, a folding wooden toy from childhood, the young designer has developed a chair that combines multiple functions.

Provided with its own local light source, the creative chair will create a comfortable environment for the eyes in any part of the home.

The switch allows the lamp to work as a floor lamp when the chair is not used for its intended purpose.

When the user sits down, his weight is compressed by the built-in spring mechanism and the internal tension system of the wire is activated, as a result of which the lamp with integrated LEDs tilts towards the seated person. But one has only to stand up, as the lamp takes the initial "stand", resembling a funny giraffe.
