
ZeBar - an establishment in Shanghai (China) where you can enjoy a cocktail while enjoying the unconventional atmosphere and live music. This unique location - the result of digital 3D modeling - has an incredibly low construction budget.

The idea of opening a striped bar with live music belongs to a Singaporean director and ex-musician. To implement his plan, he invited a team of specialists from the Italian architectural studio 3GATTI Architecture Studio.

Using an intriguing play of shape and shadow to create a “striped” effect, reminiscent of a zebra skin, the authors of the project divided the space into “fragments” - separate compartments, nevertheless united by a common space.

The task was greatly simplified by the "stencil" forms and the simplicity of the continuation of the wall pattern made of plasterboard on the floor - the course is original and completely self-sufficient, that is, it does not require additional "decoration" in the form of expensive finishes and decorative elements. And since in China the labor of construction workers is estimated, to put it mildly, very modestly, the cost of the final product, according to its authors, turned out to be unexpectedly low.
