From the news, we learn almost every day that somewhere something has flooded, washed away, washed away from the face of the Earth. Some building was destroyed by a landslide, some by an earthquake, and some by a herd of raging elephants. Here is a Russian company Remistudio and created a project for a structure called "The ark", Which just should be able to withstand all such natural disasters without any problems.

As the name suggests, these buildings do not sink. Even if all the ice of Antarctica melts, and the level of the World Ocean rises by several meters, the "Ark" will simply float above the surface of the water. After all, it was created on a special floating platform. At normal times, it is below ground level, and will only be needed in case of floods.

In addition, the "Kovcheg" is also designed to stand confidently on unstable grounds or in places with increased seismic activity. The weight of the structure is evenly distributed over its entire solid base, and, as a result, even if the earth opens up under it, the building will simply fall down intact.

Of course, the Ark is a completely self-contained building. Its domed roof can hold so many solar panels that their energy will be enough for the full operation of the entire internal infrastructure of the building. In addition, energy will also be generated by burning garbage generated during the operation of the Ark.

Inside this building, a large park with fruit trees and even vegetable gardens will be laid out. So food can also spawn directly in this autonomous dwelling unit.
Remistudio believes that Kovcheg is an excellent solution for creating a hotel or a small autonomous residential area in an unstable area: in the desert, in the mountains, in the middle of a swamp, on the ocean shore.

And I must say that this project looks much more realizable than Noah's Ark from New Orleans (New Orleans Arcology Habitat - NOAH).
