Another futuristic proposal for participation in an international competition Opera House Design Competitionheld in the seaside Izmir (Turkey) was developed by an architectural studio Nüvist.
This project of the cultural center, according to the authors, is an attempt to show and combine emotions, intelligence, artistic originality of local culture, the latest technologies, the desire for development, as well as to designate a new standard of modern city life.
The building of the cultural center is made in the form of a domed shell, traditional for local architecture. However, this element, which is so familiar to the eye, was given an extremely expressive and dynamic ultra-modern form by the authors.
The new building is intended to become a landmark object for the city, which will combine cultural traditions and the modern level of technology development, as well as organically integrate into the existing urban topography, while opening a new milestone in the development of Izmir's architecture and construction.
