What is drawn in your head at the word "home"? A massive structure made of glass and concrete, or a wooden hut? Brick Khrushchev, or some kind of brick mansion. There can be many options, perhaps for each person there is his own "home". But for sure, the buildings that we will show you are not associated with this concept in any way, they are very unusual.

There are people who devote their whole lives to being different from others. Architect Hundertwasser is one of those, and all his skill is aimed at creating buildings that have never been and are unlikely to be equal in their unusualness. The Hundertwasser House in Vienna is the clearest confirmation of this. You will not find two windows of the same shape and size. The walls are uneven, the façade is lined with asymmetrical quadrangles, the floor is like forest paths and a huge amount of varied vegetation. This house is one of the most expensive in Vienna, but there is no end to the tenants. Not everyone can withstand this riot of fantasy - the uneven floor and crowds of tourists under the window will drive anyone crazy.

You can talk about the Hundertwasser houses for a very long time, since each of them is a real work of art, which has no equal. However, there are other architects who like to create something completely different from what they teach in architecture universities. Daniel Czapiewski is one of them. The construction of the overturned house lasted 114 days (local builders were very surprised at the strange angles on the walls, but they mastered the project) and became one of the most popular attractions in Poland.

The toilet house was created by the founder of the World Toilet Association, and mainly toilets live in it. There are as many as four of them in this small building of the "Lux" class. In the center is the bathroom. What else to tell - I can't imagine. Would you like to live in the toilet?

Huge billboards, of which there are plenty in any more or less large city, prompted one designer, whose name could not be established, to create just such a house. It is, of course, rather small (the entire living area is 27 sq. M.), And the whole family cannot settle there, but you can install this "House on a Stick" absolutely anywhere - in the sea, in the mountains, in the desert or in an open field. Comfortable. And it's probably not difficult to transport..

The bubble house was designed at the request of Pierre Cardin by his friend Antti Lovag. Mainly to show the possibilities of modern architecture. The dive into the underwater world was more than successful, and the building built by Lovag was not only unusual, but also quite practical.

In general, describing these buildings is a thankless task. There are simply no words to tell about the author's idea - you need to see them. In pictures, or even better live!
