Cranes are specific machines. Virtually nothing new has been invented for them in the past fifty years. They were only slightly modernized, increasing the height of the crane itself and the permissible weight of the lifted load. Finally, the Czech designer Jiri Kubec has created a truly revolutionary crane concept. And he called it "Lynx".
Indeed, the car looks very similar to this wild cat. It is interesting because its cabin is capable of rising as much as 8, 5 meters in height! This is done in order to create a better view for the driver to observe how the load is being lifted.
The control will be carried out by a joystick and pedals, and the maximum weight of the load is 80 tons. Designers hope that with this latest crane, which is still a concept, the number of accidents on construction sites will decrease dramatically.
