The other day in Abu Dhabi, construction began on the 160-meter Strata Tower, which will have 40 floors and the American company Asymptote plans to complete it by 2011. But all statistical data fade, after the first glance at the project - it is not a sin to build such a thing even in the capital of the country of sheikhs.

The 40-story building, which will primarily house luxury residences, was designed by Asymptote architects Hani Rashid and Lise Anne Couture. The building will be built on Al Raha Beach and will be the tallest in the Al Dana area. The city authorities believe that such a global construction of such an unusual building will play an important role in the future future of the city.

The main unusual feature of the tower is its appearance. Asymptote architects managed to move away from the usual rectangular shapes. Instead, they proposed a "twisted" building. As if someone took the building and turned it counterclockwise a little. This became possible only thanks to the use of the latest building materials.

Architects - Hani Rashid and Lisa Ann Couture founded Asymptote almost twenty years ago - in 1989. And from the very beginning, they focused on the most modern achievements of science. Today, Asymptote buildings can be seen on every continent and in every part of the world.
