At the Exhibition in Stockholm, which took place there just recently, many different objects were shown. One of them is two wonderful chairs, which we will tell you about. Hay Booth by designer Oskar Zieta is an example of an aluminum chair made with the Hydro Forming System (HFS).

Personally, it seems to me that it looks like a reduced spaceship, they were shown in cartoons and scientific projects. Three legs, a hole at the top, so funny …

So about the chair. Such technologies have long been used in cars, but for the first time in furniture. One gets the feeling that he is doing it in a retro style. Do you know why? It is thanks to these technologies. Between two aluminum sheets, pre-welded at the edges, there is a liquid injected there under high pressure.

It is the pressure and thickness of the sheets that make the object look three-dimensional, give it a bulge and, at the same time, provide stability.

But this is Oscar's very first project - a chair, which he created simultaneously with the Hay Booth project.

Well, in fact, the author of these creations himself.
