Here is what the designer himself says: “I was inspired by a famous artist. Bas Jan Ader died or disappeared without a trace, it is still unknown, in 1975 at the age of 33. He tried to cross the Atlantic Ocean in a sailboat, thereby challenging the boundaries between art and his own life. Then his work was really breathtaking. He experimented with all fields of art: film, photography, various installations and productions. Until now, his work has influenced many young artists and designers who consider art not just a fun adventure in their life, but a process of discovering something new, unknown."
