Norman Foster and his partners have appeared on the pages of novate.ru more than once. The projects of this architectural firm are striking in scale and unusual execution. This week they presented their new project - the World Trade Center in Abu Dhabi.
The construction of the World Trade Center should be a major part of the global development of Al Raha Beach. The design was developed in accordance with the very harsh climate in the coastal region of Abu Dhabi. On the one hand, it was necessary to provide ventilation, and on the other hand, to make the building resistant to sufficiently strong winds that come from the coast. The resulting model, among other things, transmits natural light in a fairly large amount.
The shopping center should become part of the social network, thanks to the many offices, shops, restaurants and places of mass entertainment that will be located there. This was also taken into account by Foster & Partners in the design of the building. The start of construction of the project is scheduled for the next summer.
