How can you anger Parisians, piss them off, but do it effectively? Of course, redesign their Holy of Holies, namely the Eiffel Tower. What the architectural company SERERO Architects is doing now.
Very soon, it [the tower] will have an anniversary - the creation of Gustave Eiffel (Gustave Eiffel) will be 120 years old! It is to this date that the reconstruction of an architectural structure, famous all over the world, is scheduled. Of course, it will be incomplete, but only partial, and even then the idea is still only in development.
The anniversary will take place in 2009, however, they promise to make the innovation temporary. It is for the birthday that an influx of tourists is expected, and only for the sake of this the architects go to extreme measures. It is planned to expand the top of the tower by 300 square meters, as shown in the photographs, and create an observation deck there, which will significantly exceed the size of the current one.
The one that exists now is simply not able to accommodate the huge number of visitors who come to Paris every day. And naturally, everyone wants to visit the very top of this beautiful tower. Already, there are many dissatisfied with this idea. I would like to exclaim: “People, change your mind! Everything is done for your own good! " Firstly, this reconstruction is temporary, and secondly, the larger the site, the more people will be able to view Paris from a bird's eye view.
