Bird feathers are very attractive to people. For a long time, there have been pens, pencils, felt-tip pens for every taste, color and size, but anyway every poet wants to draw something with a huge pen at least once. People hang dream catchers at home, and many not so much because they believe in their power, but for the sake of beautiful feathers. If you think about it, feathers are not very practical. They will collect all the dust on themselves, if you try to clean them with a vacuum cleaner, nothing will remain of them. And all the same, people decorate with feathers everything they can - they are so beautiful!

For example, South African designer Haldane Martin presented two of his lamps with white feather shades. The first is called Fiela Feather Arc Light and is a floor lamp. And the second, Fiela Feather Chandelier, is hung on the ceiling, so it is a chandelier.

Interestingly, the chandelier got its name from the book ‘Fiela se Kind’ by Dalene Mathews - a touching story that takes place in the Oudtshoorn area, and there is also an ostrich farm, from the plumage of the inhabitants of which the lamps are made.

The feather is a symbol of lightness, airiness, and this is how lamps look, and especially a floor lamp, thanks to a long, arched and thin leg. Lovers of "costly" comfort - in the sense of easily soiled light items in the interior, a large number of textiles, etc. - they will like it very much. Such lamps tune in to daydreaming, lightness of thoughts and blissful doing nothing - a great option for the bedroom.
