Perhaps you watched the animated series about Aladdin as a child and remember that he had such a sworn enemy the Mechanicus, and that he had a whole army of huge and not very mechanical insects. Despite the fact that the Mechanicus was a negative character, a typical villain, his creations fascinated me. And now something similar actually exists.

True, so far, to put it mildly, not in large numbers. More precisely, the dragonfly in question exists in a single copy. Its author, Jesse Danger, created a graceful movement that mimics natural shapes, inspired mainly by Leonardo da Vinci's incredible mechanical designs. This cute creature cannot fly, it only flaps its wings if you raise the very tip of its "tail".

And it costs, presumably, very expensive. Not surprisingly, its internal mechanism is made of gold, while the outer shell and wings are made of very expensive silver. The eyes are ten carats of blue topaz. In addition, all parts of the mechanism and case are made and perfectly fit by hand (except for the two gears).

So, this toy is very expensive and, let's be honest, completely useless. But at the same time incredibly beautiful and exclusive. Hundreds of hours were spent on one of its design, and even more - on the creation and assembly of parts. The author intends to continue his precious series of insects, and we can only admire his talent.
