Rinspeed plans to launch their new vehicle "Squba" in early March 2008 (approximately March 6-16).

The Squba is the world's first diving vehicle, that is, designed to move in water. Of course, this car can just as well drive you on land, on ordinary roads. But its main advantage is that "Squba" is able to submerge as much as 10 meters into the water! The main boss of Rinspeed, M. Rinderknecht, was inspired to create such a machine after watching the James Bond movie The Spy Who Loved Me. In this film, the idea of a diving car was shown, and it was she who did not leave the boss of the company indifferent.

“The electric powerful all-wheel drive motor has tremendous power to pull the wheels through the water. The propulsion is provided by two propellers at the rear of the vehicle and thanks to two more jet engines that propel the underwater vehicle underwater. Thus, the car dives and is able to develop a good speed,”says Rindernecht.
