At the height of summer, many people want to please themselves not only with healthy vegetables and herbs grown in the country or on the balcony, but also with fragrant flowers. There is not always a free area / window sill for breaking up a club or creating flower arrangements, so we recommend that you familiarize yourself with an interesting idea from a jack of all trades. You can safely take it into service, because for the implementation you need only containers, a chain and half an hour of time.

The owners of modest summer cottages and big fans of creating greenhouses on balconies are always faced with the dilemma of how to arrange flower beds so that all the plants they like fit in. It is for such cases that suspended structures are best suited, allowing you to make a multi-tiered vertical garden. Buying ready-made vertical pots with flower pots is quite an expensive pleasure, but if you dream up and try to securely fix long containers on top of each other, it will turn out much cheaper and no less original. An interesting way of organizing a vertical flower garden was suggested by a young master who assembled a reliable structure in just half an hour.

To create a hanging flower garden you will need:
• long flower containers;
• metal chain (with a large cell it looks more textured);
• threaded rod (threaded rod) with a diameter of 6 mm;
• washers and nuts;
• pliers and wire cutters;
• grinder or metal saw.

First you need to decide at what level the flower pots will be located and how many rows you want to have in order to cut the chain to the desired length.
Important: As much as you would like to squeeze in as many containers as possible, you should rely on the height of the flowers themselves, greenery, strawberries, etc. Also, do not forget that plants should receive enough sunlight and be well ventilated at each of the levels. In this case, it is better to place the upper container at a height convenient from the ground to facilitate watering and maintenance.

Fold the chain in half, use pliers and wire cutters to separate one link to form two free edges. In a similar way, make another "support" on which the flower containers will be fixed.
A piece of chain is thrown over the canopy beam or any other crossbar so that the edges are level with the bottom. The chain under the beam is fixed with a threaded rod, bolts and nuts. In a similar way, another chain is fixed at the desired distance. This takes into account the length of the container itself and the indentation from the edges (it is better that it passes between the legs). In this case, it is worth paying attention to the fact that the chain links should be located at the same level with the previously fixed one. Otherwise, the bias cannot be avoided, which will ruin not only the mood, but nullify all efforts.

To create the crossbars, a threaded rod in the form of a long rod is suitable, which must be cut to size. The basis is the width of the box plus 3-4 cm for the installation of washers and tightening the nuts on both sides of the stud. First, the rods of the lower tier are fixed and the container is installed in order to know exactly at what level to make the crossbars for the second tier of the vertical structure. They are fixed in a similar way. In the same way, the third flower pot takes its rightful place. In this case, it is worth checking that all crossbars are strictly parallel to the ground and to each other.

When the last container takes its place, you can plant your favorite flowers or greens, while it is better to have moisture-loving plants at the lower level, and those that require the most sun on the upper level.
