On the web, you can find many interesting examples of a creative approach to building your own home. But this amazing project, which a fragile girl managed to realize, using only ancient Cambodian housing construction technologies, a primitive tool and what was found in the jungle, is beyond praise. Of course, no one will undertake to apply such an experience in our latitudes, but no one bothers us to enjoy the process, the hard work and ingenuity of the craftswoman.

Not all peoples are so close to civilization and the achievements of scientific and technological progress as to move away from the origins and forget ancient technologies. This is especially noticeable in the way of construction of residential buildings, without which a person cannot exist, wherever he is. In Cambodia, for example, to this day you can find nationalities and tribes who, using only a primitive tool, natural material at hand, knowledge accumulated over the centuries, ingenuity and talent, manage to build a refuge for themselves without resorting to the help of others.
And the most impressive thing is that even a young girl can cope with such a construction, if, of course, she grew up in this environment, knows the intricacies of craftsmanship and understands which of the plants are best suited for building a forest hut, and which ones for finishing work or creating " orthopedic "mattress.

Before starting construction, local residents carefully choose a place so as not to harm nature and to protect themselves. This is exactly what the young lady did, who took up the project. Having decided on the place and clearing the site of liana and small overgrowth, she went into the jungle for the trunks of young trees, which will become the frame of the hut. Using a specially shaped metal-tipped tool, she made indentations in the ground and notches in the wood that will serve as supports, beams and lintels. I installed them in ready-made pits and carefully compacted the soil around.

A quick-witted girl strengthened the frame with the help of lashes of climbing plants, installed several additional supports and laid the floor beams (also from the trunks of young trees, made jumpers between them. Then she prepared hollow bamboo stems using her tool, dismissed them into several parts and used almost flat elements as a material for weaving walls Following the same principle, the overlap over the first level and the frame for the future roof were made.

As a roof covering, the girl used palm leaves, which she had to dissolve into strips, fix them on sticks, dry the finished layers of roofing material and soak in the lake for a day. Then, row by row, a skilful young lady assembled a gable roof, which will save from the scorching sun and rain, but such a structure is unlikely to survive strong gusts of wind.

The craftswoman assembled doors and windows from halves of bamboo stalks, fastened them with lashes of plants peeled from thorns and fixed them above the openings. Also, an inventive girl figured out how to raise and lower the door without unnecessary gestures. To do this, she weaved a rope from plants and fixed it in a special way, after which it remains to make a minimum of effort so that the door rolls into a roll and returns to its original position.

The girl did not manage with the construction of the hut, and she proceeded to the arrangement of the living space. To begin with, I installed the supports and fixed the frame for the bed and table, then with the help of lashes of an exotic plant I made an "orthopedic" base of the bed, for which a mattress is definitely not required.

Using the traditional date palm leaf weaving technique, she put together a pillowcase and stuffed it with dry grass to make a pillow. The needlewoman assembled a dining table and a stool from sticks and creepers, so you can also dine in comfortable conditions.

On the second level of her hut, the girl decided to hang a hammock, which she made with her own hands. To make the frame comfortable and have an organic shape, the craftswoman dismissed the bamboo stalks into narrow strips, warmed them over the fire, bent them in an arc and fixed them in the desired position. She then secured sturdy poles by making jumpers that became the basis for the hammock.

But the hardworking girl did not stop there, she decided to enclose the newly made house with a miniature fence, break up flower beds and green lawns. As building materials for the fence, the enthusiast used the remains of wood that remained after the construction of the walls of the house, dug flowers on the lawn, and used layers of turf for landscaping the yard.

Interesting fact: To diversify her leisure time and provide coolness to her home, the creative girl decided to make a pool as well. After the pit was ready (she dug it with her own hand!), Using clay, as well as silt from a nearby lake, she plastered the bottom and walls of the tank so that the water would not go into the ground. To create the illusion of emerald water, she collected the juice from a plant traditionally used to make bright green paint, boiled it with a few secret ingredients, and covered all the surfaces of the pit with the resulting solution. She also collected a suspension bridge from sticks and creepers, threw it over the pool and securely fastened it to the previously hammered supports.

After the solution had dried, it remained to gradually fill the pool with water. This process also took place in the old fashioned way: the girl had to go to the nearest spring with jugs more than one hundred times. But no matter how long and laborious the process was, the result pleased the young mistress.
A similar process of building huts, swimming pools, various household and entertainment facilities has become very popular in the vastness of the Web. The authors of Novate.ru have selected several inspiring examples of how people manage to create unique objects without modern tools, computer calculations and innovative building materials.
