This is exactly what the lover of transformations of old things did. The girl wanted to get an original console table with a mirror in the hallway, and to implement her idea, she used an old balcony door and a few additional details.
Window frames, doors (including balcony doors) in old apartments built in Soviet times have long outlived their usefulness, so they are trying to replace them in the first place. As a rule, these architectural elements have long been unable to fully fulfill their enclosing functions, but wood can still do a good job in creating furniture.
