It is quite obvious that wood is not metal, and therefore it will not work to bend it with the help of locksmith tools and brute force. However, all this does not mean at all that the tree cannot be bent in principle. Moreover, achieving the correct shape of a piece of wood is actually not as difficult as it might seem at first glance. First of all, we need a steam generator for work. You also need plumbing tape, plastic wrap, and a pipe for external sewage with a diameter of 160 mm and a length of 2 meters. When all of the above is prepared, you can proceed to the next step - the construction of the steam chamber.
First, we build a "steam engine". To do this, we take a sewer pipe and make a plug at one of its ends with adhesive tape. We do not glue the other end of the pipe completely, forming a kind of adapter for the steam generator (we leave a hole of about 50 mm). The tightness of the connection is further ensured by gluing polyethylene around the pipe with the supplied steam generator.
Next, a piece of wood is placed inside the steam chamber. The entire structure of the steam engine is assembled and insulated, the steam generator is turned on, after which the wood remains in the pipe for 18 hours. When the deadline is over, the wooden blank can be obtained. The material will become very soft, flexible and pliable.
