Someone is afraid of an invasion of aliens, someone is afraid of a global drought, and some designers, as it turned out, are afraid of an attack by huge birds. At least this is the explanation that comes to mind when looking at the original art installation on the streets of Leeuwarden.
This unusual work of art imitates several giant scrambled eggs, located one after another in the central square of the city. The author of the masterpiece is a designer Henk Hofstra … Protein is a common white paint. The yolk is a kind of bench that you can lean on or sit on. Children and tourists of the city are especially fond of decorative scrambled eggs. The former are happy to climb the round yellow seats, and Leeuwarden guests are equally excited to be photographed against the backdrop of a local landmark.
As the author of the artistic attitude himself explains, the idea of the work is to bring the townspeople out of balance. And to do this not with the help of shocking news (as it usually happens), but through art. I must admit that the designer succeeded. Equally successful can be called unusual house by Dang Viet Nga, which looks more like a huge gnarled tree than a residential building.
